THE BENEFITS OF BUDGETING

So we know a budget is a plan to save, track, and improve your money situation.

What is "Expense"

Expense is money spent on something.

For the next exercise we are going to create a budget.

We will pretend you are an adult creating

your budget for December (yes AGAIN).

If you stick to your spending plan (aka budget)

you will have money left over to put in Savings or Invest.

Do you know why a person would create a budget ?

Good job for pushing through ! We are proud of you for learning and building your money !

Now let's create a budget using all the amounts above #1-10,

even if you didn't select it.

We received a lot of feedback from the last assignment. Many of you expressed how long the assignment was.

That was intentional. We wanted to know how much was too much for kids your age. With your feedback, we have shortened today's assignment which should help with the lengthy up and down scrolling but added some variety to the amounts to ensure you still get the practice needed.
