MONEY - WHAT IS IT
it's a tool that helps us get the things we need & want.
Imagine you're building a world in Roblox.
Money is not just paper and coins.
It's that special tool you earn or buy that lets you get all the cool stuff: new outfits for your avatar, awesome items for your games, special game passes, or even your own private server. It's what you use to trade, build, and unlock almost anything fun in the Roblox world!
INCOME - INFLOW OF MONEY
Earned by providing our skills or goods to others.
Whether you're helping out with:
Chores, earning rewards or working a job
you're exchanging your energy and talent for pay (aka your earnings).
The more value you create, the more money you can earn.
Once you have your money, you have choices.
EXPENSE - OUTFLOW OF MONEY
Spend for necessities and entertainment.
Think of it as money leaving your bank. There are a few reasons:
#1 Necessities:
Food, clothes, place to live, etc.
#2 Entertainment
Concert, video games, etc.
Understanding these "outflows" is key to mastering your money's flow.
It's not about making them disappear, but about wisely directing your money to survive or fuel your grand adventure!
Budget: A plan for your money.
Imagine you're playing a game and you only have a certain number of blocks – maybe 100 wood, 50 stone, and 5 diamonds. Your budget is deciding how you're going to use those exact blocks to build your house, farm or land.
So in the real world you have to plan carefully so you don't use all your money on one item and then realize you have nothing left for anything else!
Saving: Build up your money.
Putting aside some of your earned resources for a bigger or more important goal, instead of using them all up right away is saving.
Imagine you're collecting all kinds of items. Savings is when you decide to take some of your best items and put them into a locked chest in your base that you promise yourself you won't touch.
You're holding onto them not for what you need right now, but because you have a grand plan for a huge, amazing project in the future, and you'll need those special blocks later to make it happen!
Investing: This is using your money to make more money. It's like planting a magic bean that grows into a money tree. This is where your financial wisdom truly begins to shine.
Imagine you're playing Roblox and you've got some Robux. You could spend it all on a cool new outfit right now, but that just changes how your avatar looks.
So, instead of buying that outfit, you might:
Buy a game pass that helps you earn Robux faster in a game. (Like investing in a tool to get more resources!)
Buy shares in a popular "stock market" game that other players might want later. (Like investing in a business!)
Put your Robux into a "mining simulator" where it slowly earns you more Robux over time. (Like putting your money to work for you!)
So, invest means you're using what you have now to set yourself up to get more back in the future, not just to spend it right away.
Giving: Sharing your money with others who need it, or for causes you believe in, spreads good energy and helps the community.
